Assisting Massachusetts manufacturers to bolster cybersecurity

The Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program (MCP), an MMAP program, provided up to $30,000 in capital cost share for cybersecurity infrastructure improvement projects located within the Commonwealth’s borders, as part of the state’s on-going commitment to the manufacturing industry. 

This program assisted Massachusetts-based small- to medium-sized manufacturers enhance their cybersecurity infrastructure to meet requirements from customers, strengthen the security of their networks and allow them to enter additional markets.   

Award Recipients

In March 2025, 20 Massachusetts-based manufacturers were awarded a collective $540,473 to upgrade their cybersecurity infrastructure.

  • Gallagher Custom Machines and Automation located in Mattapoisett with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $30,000.
  • Governors America Corporation  located in Agawam with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $30,000.  
  • Helfrich Brothers Boiler Works, Inc. located in Lawrence with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $30,000.  
  • Meridian Industrial Group, LLC located in Holyoke with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $26,326.  
  • North Easton Machine Co., Inc. located in Easton with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $28,801.  
  • Patriot Armored Systems, LLC located in Lee with nonprofit partner Berkshire Innovation Center (BIC): $30,000.
  • Pendar Technologies located in Cambridge with nonprofit partner MassMEP: $26,677.
